It wasn't that long ago that same-sex marriage wasn't permitted in the United States; according to The New York Times, it just became legal on a nationwide level in 2015. California, on the other hand, approved same-sex weddings on a state level in 2008, which Ellen DeGeneres applauded. To that end, DeGeneres' big reveal about her love life was one of the best moments in the history of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "I'd want to announce for the first time that I'm getting married right now," she declared. The audience erupted in applause, leaping to their feet and clapping their hands.
After sobbing over a sloth, Kristen Bell becomes a Meme GIF

While there are plenty of adorable moments on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to select from. Our favorite has to be the one where — Kristen Bell first appeared on the show in 2012, she became viral by becoming a meme that has lasted to this day — and all because of a sloth.
Bell, who describes herself as an emotional person, became so wound up when her husband presented her with a sloth that she passed out. The "Good Place" actress had wanted to see a sloth her entire life, but she couldn't completely digest it when the big moment arrived, as a birthday surprise from husband Dax Shepard. While she declared, "I'm so excited," she appeared to be anything but, as she sobbed from the intensity of her emotions.
While that was adorable in and of itself, Bell became a meme when Ellen DeGeneres claimed she had a sloth in the studio and Bell couldn't stop crying. While DeGeneres didn't have a sloth on that particular day, Bell did meet one in a later episode. It's totally adorable.

The first lady made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" for one of Jimmy's most memorable dance duets. The two wore cardigans and khakis, and Jimmy even wore a wig, as they performed some of the classic routines we've seen (or feared seeing) our mothers do at parties. In less than two months, the film received over 15 million views on YouTube.
Compliments from Robert De Niro to Tom Hiddleston
Source: Daily Mail
Interviews with Robert De Niro are hard to come by because the actor is notoriously cagey and reserved, and he only does them once in a while, and they are rarely for anything other than late-night television (De Niro famously hates press junkets). He can be fairly terrifying as someone who is frequently depicted as a gangster. Along with Christopher Walken and Matthew McCoungey, he is one of the most imitated celebrities, and MCU actor Tom Hiddleston couldn't pass up the chance to show off his Robert De Niro impersonation to the man himself. Surprisingly, De Niro, who is known for his gruff demeanor, was impressed, and not only was he impressed but also complimented Tom!

And, of course, being the notorious teaser that he is, Graham Norton asked Benedict Cumberbatch, "Why can't you say it right?" what was on everyone's mind. Cumberbatch finally gets it right near the end of the interview.

Rihanna snuck into his room late at night on April Fool's Day, 2015, and woke him up to the tune of one of her hit songs. One of the most well-known music festivals in the United States is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. For the 2013 edition, Jimmy Kimmel staged a hoax in which he brought a reporter to the event and asked attendees if they recognized the names of made-up bands. And the audience was duped! It's astonishing that no one figured out it was a joke with names like The Chelsea Clintons and The Obesity Epidemic.
When Oprah Bestowed a Car on Everyone
Source: Motor1
On September 13, 2004, Oprah began season 19 of her show with what might be the most charitable fake-out in history. After surprising a few onlookers with free Pontiac G6s, the remaining audience members were each given a wrapped box containing keys to other free Pontiac G6s. The gathering then erupted into joyous mass hysteria when everyone learned that every box included keys, despite the fact that they had all been invited that day because they all needed a new automobile. Oprah's repeated yells of "You get a car!" is what people remember the most—a theme that has been memed into immortality.
