First things first - let's start with some cake. This gorgeous chocolate cake doesn't require a heart-shaped baking pan; all you need is a square pan, a round pan, and a kitchen knife to slice and merge two cakes into one heart-shaped dessert. Simply buy a cake mix, follow the recipe and bake two portions - one in a round pan and another in a square pan. Put your knife skills to use and cut and merge pieces until the cake looks like a heart.
Heart-Shaped Cookies

This one is also easy enough - prepare cookie dough and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out thin slices of cookies. Then melt some white chocolate in a double boiler, add some pastel food coloring to it and start painting. To paint these cookies, you don't need to be the next Picasso; a little edible luster dust should suffice. Use a paintbrush to add some gorgeous pink designs to your sugar cookies to take them up a notch.
Air Fried Donuts

We'd choose doughnuts over flowers any day of the week, and your significant other is likely to agree. You won't have to worry about excess oil because the donuts are air-fried. Just unfold some puff pastry, use a knife or cookie cutter to cut out the desired shape. Apply some melted butter on top and throw them into an air fryer. After about 10 minutes, you should have some crunchy and healthy donuts. Prepare your favorite sugar mix (hopefully it's just cinnamon and sugar) and sprinkle a healthy amount on top of the donuts.
Red Velvet Mug Cake

It only takes ten minutes to prepare this decadent, cream cheese-filled mini cake. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine the milk, butter, vanilla, and food coloring in a mixing bowl. Combine confectioners' sugar and cream cheese in a small bowl until smooth, then drop into a mug and press down until the batter is completely covered. Microwave on high for 90 seconds, or until it is cooked through.
Vegan Chocolate Truffle

These homemade truffles are a fantastic Valentine's Day gift because they are creamy, rich, and wholesome. They're also vegan-friendly, as this recipe substitutes coconut milk for heavy cream. In a medium bowl, place a vegan chocolate bar. Warm the coconut milk until it is warm to the touch before pouring it over the chocolate. Cover the bowl with a towel and set aside for 5 minutes before stirring until the chocolate and coconut milk are melted and creamy. Chill the bowl until the chocolate is stiff but not rock hard. Refrigerate tablespoon-size balls that have been scooped and rolled onto a piece of parchment paper.
Italian Shaved Ice Granita

If you're having a romantic Italian dinner, this boozy lemonade with limoncello and strawberries is the perfect complement. Puree the lemonade, limoncello, raspberries, and lemon zest in a blender until smooth. Pour into a metal loaf pan or a square pan, cover, and freeze for 4 hours. To serve, scrape the surface of the ice with a fork to make huge flakes. Divide the shavings among bowls and if preferred, garnish with raspberries and zest.
Hazelnut Hearts

This one is for all the Nutella lovers (which is all 7.5 billion of us). Prepare your own cookie dough or take some store-bought one. Lay it out and flatten till it is reduced to 1/8th of an inch in height. Then take some heart-shaped cookie cutters and cut out as many pieces as you would like. Now, pour the Nutella into a resealable plastic bag and cut out a small hole in a corner. Pipe out the outline of the cookies and refrigerate it. Once the cookies are out of the oven, place this Nutella outline over that and fill out the insides with more of the good stuff (Nutella). The result is the most adorable and delicious heart-shaped cookie.
Beet Hummus

Let’s stray off the dessert path for a bit here. What do you think of beet-hummus? It is pink and fits perfectly with the theme of Valentine’s Day! The beets give this beet hummus a subtle sweetness that complements the creamy savory flavor of this pink dip. You'll need to cook some beets to make the beet hummus, of course! Roasting beets is the finest way to prepare them. Wrap them in aluminum foil and bake them at 400°F for 20 minutes. The beets will take 50 to 60 minutes to roast, depending on their size, so plan accordingly. Then simply throw them in the food processor along with standard hummus ingredients like chickpeas, garlic, tahini, olive oil, and salt.
Pomegranate Salad

One of the most unique foods on the earth is the pomegranate (we think). Each vibrant pink seed has a sweet-tart pop and crunch that is enticing! We enjoy eating them by the handful, but what's our next favorite way to consume them? Salad with pomegranates! Pomegranate seeds crunch up beautifully as confetti on top of lush greens. It's a wonderful symphony of flavor when you add acidic green apple pieces, roasted nuts, and crumbled goat cheese or feta.
Raspberry Martini

The Raspberry Martini is a sweet beverage with a vivid hue. This drink is gorgeous and full of vibrant berry flavor: you'll be sold with the first sip! A well-chosen raspberry syrup, the sweet-tart, makes the mildly flowery flavor of raspberry exquisitely pure. This cocktail is ideal for a Valentine's Day meal or any other occasion that calls for a crimson drink. It's a little on the sweet side, but the zing of fresh lemon properly balances it out. Just add some vodka, unsweetened cranberry juice, raspberry syrup, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and large ice cubes into a shaker. Once you mix them all well, strain the drink onto a martini glass.
With this list, we hope you get to spend an amazing Valentine’s day with your SO. What has been your go-to meal for Valentine’s day? Let us know in the comments below.
