5 Valentine's Day Gone Wrong Stories That Will Make you Wish you Were Single

Unfortunate Discovery

A couple was having dinner at a restaurant when suddenly, the guy jumped up and ran towards the bathroom. After around 45 minutes, she grew concerned and decided to go check on him. Upon reaching the bathroom, she found out that the man who had entered before him was actually his dealer and they were in there using drugs. This unfortunate discovery took place on Valentine's Day, which also happened to be their first date together.

A constant reminder

With this particular couple, things just went sideways in ways you couldn’t imagine. At high school, students were able to send Valentine's Day candygrams to each other. However, this person’s long-distance boyfriend, who had arranged to send her some, ended their relationship a few days before the 14th for another girl. Despite this, on Valentine's Day, the protagonist received multiple candygrams from her ex-boyfriend throughout the day, expressing his love for her and his anticipation to see her again.

Come let’s go to the supermarket!

In another such fail story, the guy had asked the girl out a few times, but she had always declined. However, for Valentine's Day, she decided to give him a chance. She got in his car and he drove her to Seven Elven. There, he only paid for his own sandwich and then promptly dropped her off at her dorm. The entire outing lasted only 15 minutes. When he asked her out again, she had no trouble saying no.

A real life-or-death situation

In a rather unfortunate situation, this person went out with a guy she had seen a few times before. He surprised her by bringing a box of chocolates. However, she had a severe tree nut allergy, and the box didn't have one of those guides in it. So, they made a joke of it where he would eat part of a piece, and if it was nut-free she would finish it. Unfortunately, there was one chocolate that definitely had nuts in it because she immediately started swelling. She couldn't breathe, see, or hear. Fortunately, they made it to the hospital in time and everything was fine.

In our last fail story, we have this person who had been dating this guy and was falling for him slowly. He had said that he wanted to plan everything for their Valentine's Day date. He was passionate about astronomy, so he chose a location and brought a small telescope to show her all the constellations. She was elated. She changed into something alluring and invited him inside. He undressed, got into bed, and then delivered the heartbreaking news that he could not continue the relationship. He explained that he undressed so that he could end the relationship on a good note before the special holiday. He stated that she deserved a wonderful Valentine's date before he had to do so.
