Britney Spears and Lynne Spears Reunite: Healing Their Relationship and Enjoying Coffee Together After Years of Estrangement

And there was a really sweet post by Brittney which read,” My sweet mama showed up at my doorstep yesterday after 3 years…it’s been such a long time… with family there’s always things that need to be worked out… but time heals all wounds!!!” She couldn’t be more true, time indeed heals all wounds.

The post clearly suggested that the meeting was really warm and both mother and daughter mended things during their meet. Britney continued with her post that wrote, “After being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT!!! I love you so much!!! Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years!!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!”  She also added a photo from her childhood with the post. 

It is not a secret that Britney Spears has had a complicated relationship with her family. Her conservatorship made headlines and it was finally terminated in 2021 after over a decade. The “Toxic” singer was placed under the infamous conservatorship after a public mental health crisis. When the Conservatorship ended the two were not on good terms. The singer even called out her mother just a few days before the conservatorship. Britney Spears wrote in a post,” Pssss my dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea!!! I will never get those years back.” Britney however did delete the post later but it is clear they had a fractured relationship at that time.  

Lynne Spears wasn’t even invited to her daughter’s wedding when Britney Spears and Sam Asghari got married but she was supportive of her daughter through the comments section of Instagram. Lynne commented on a series of photographs from Britney’s wedding which read,” You look radiant and so happy!” Britney did not let her comment go unseen and reached out to her mother on Instagram after a few months.

The “Criminal” singer posted a selfie of her and in the caption she wrote,” Mom and Dad… I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years… Mom, we can go have coffee together now!!! I’m treated as an equal… let’s have coffee and talk about it!!!

I guess they finally did have that coffee!
