At the Commonwealth Youth Forum in 2018, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry spoke with LGBTQ+ people. "This is a basic human rights issue, not a sexuality issue," Meghan reportedly told Jacob Thomas, who won an award for helping reduce LGBTQ+ suicide rates and according to reports, Harry agreed with her. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also said to have promised Jonah Chinga, a Kenyan LGBTQ+ rights campaigner, that they would prioritize LGBTQ+ concerns in their work. To commemorate Pride Month, Harry and Meghan shared a special Instagram post on June 1, 2019.

With a rainbow emoji, the post read – "We stand with you and support you," "Because it’s very simple: love is love."

In 2019, GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) honored Queen Bey and Hova for their allyship. When Lena Waithe introduced them, she called them "the most powerful black people in the country." Janet Mock, a transgender writer, and director added that her appearance in Jay – "Family Z's Feud" music video helped to ensure that "LGBTQ people are worth being seen, heard, and acknowledged."

In their acceptance speech, Beyoncé claimed she was "overwhelmed."

According to NBC News, she addressed the audience, "We are here to promote love for every human being," "Let's tell them they are loved, tell them they are beautiful, speak out and protect them. And parents, let's love our kids in their truest form."

Gloria, Jay-mother, Z's was gay, and he claimed in 2018 that when she came out to him, he sobbed "happy tears." Justin and Jessica received an Inspiration Award from the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network in 2015 for their long history of allyship with the LGBTQ+ community. Justin told The Advocate in 2011 that he was "stoked" that New York State had legalized same-sex marriage.

He thanked then-US President Barack Obama for his work on LGBTQ+ rights in a tweet in 2012. In 2015, he also played for Jessica's pals Dana Panzer and Amy Wicker's wedding.

In April, she told Vulture, "I know Villanelle has really resonated with the LGBT community," "The fact that she's unapologetically herself and free with her sexuality – her sexuality was something I never questioned and always celebrated. We fell in love a little more with the Doctor Strange star who has long been a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. Benedict portrayed gay World War II codebreaker Alan Turing in the film and has frequently shown his support for LGBTQ rights. "Human rights movements and sexual and gay rights movements have made huge social progress in the last 40 years, without a doubt, but there’s a lot more work to be done," he remarked in an interview with Out magazine in 2014.

In 2018, the Oscar-winning star of Les Misérables won an award for her advocacy work from the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's leading LGBTQ+ rights organization. In her victory speech, she declared, "Authentic equality doesn’t prioritize sexual orientation, it doesn't put anyone gender or race at the center," "What it does do is centralize love. In 2014, the show was essential in J.Lo winning a GLAAD Award. The pop artist declared her LGBTQ+ admirers are always "in her heart" in her award speech, and added, "If I do anything that makes one child out there feel empowered... my dream has come true."

Swift has made the most of Pride Month more than any other celebrity. Swift, who lives in Nashville, used her Instagram page to write an open letter to Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., urging passage of the Equality Act in the Senate, and she started her own Change.org petition for Swifties to remind legislators that the majority of Americans support LGBTQ rights protection. Her words made it clear that she would stand up against anyone when she spoke out against Donald Trump too: “I personally reject the president’s stance that his administration ‘supports equal treatment of all’ but that the Equality Act ‘in its current form is filled with poison pills that threaten to undermine parental and conscience rights.’ No,” she replied. She'd appeared at an L.A. performance in full rainbow garb before the day was done, emphasizing her pride in being an ally.
