But before he exposes the "evil consortium," Williams throws some serious shade at fellow comedians like Smiley and Cedric, setting the record straight on "outright lies."
Williams, 52, who has long presented himself as an independent and spirited outsider, alleged that many entertainers in Hollywood sold their soul for success and lamented a push by movie executives to get black men in dresses while pushing a homosexual agenda.
Not only this but there are many shocking things he revealed that just left many of us whaaaat?
What did Katt Williams exactly say?
On January 3, 2024, during his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's show, Katt Willaims called out many well-known comedians. Katt also said that in his
first movie role, Friday After Next, he suggested to the writers to remove a rape scene from the script.
"The truth of the matter is, the Money Mike in the original script gets raped in the bathroom, and that's what Rickey Smiley was okay with," Williams said to Shannon. "The problem with Friday After Next is, we're trying to make a classic comedy, and this comedy involves a rape, and rape is never funny, no matter who it happens to or what the circumstances are."
During this 3 hours-long interview, William took shots at a handful of celebrities, including Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric the Entertainer, and Rickey Smiley. The comedian first spoke about Steve Harvey, claiming that Harvey stole material from Mark Curry.
He also banged Harvey’s career, claiming he "couldn't be a movie star". "There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. "Not one of them asked for a country-bumpkin Black dude that can't talk good and looks like Mr Potato Head," Katt said.
With whom he had feuded for decades, Willams then accused comedian Cedric the Entertainer of stealing one of his best jokes for the Kings of Comedy tour in the 90s.
Katt told Shannon Sharpe that Cedric watched William's "best joke" on Comic View in the audience and told him how much he loved it backstage. And then “two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on the Kings of Comedy, and he’s doing it verbatim, he just changed my car into a spaceship," Williams added.
After exposing Cedric, Williams went on to accuse Kevin Hart of being an "industry plant." He said, “In 15 years in Hollywood, no one in Hollywood has a memory of going to a sold-out Kevin Hart show... or there is a line for him or him ever getting a standing ovation at any comedy club. He already had his deals when he got here. Have we heard of a comedian who came to LA and in his first year in LA, had his first sitcom on network television or had his own movie he was leading?"

Willams talked about his viral back-and-forth with Wanda Smith on a radio show she hosted in 2018. He blasted Smith for calling him gay as a derogatory term, saying "This lady is trying to embarrass me in front of a largely homosexual fan base, that's why she got canceled"
The Friday actor also denied Rickey Smiley had his Friday After Next role. In case you don’t know in the 2002 dramedy both comedians starred, with Willam playing the character of Money Mike and Smiley in the role of Santa Claus. Smiley previously told Club Shay Shay host, Shannon Sharpe he originally was supposed to portray the role of Money Mike.
But what Katt told Sharpe is actually surprising he said, "We auditioned in Los Angeles. I was audition No. 201. Two hundred Black comedians auditioned for the role of Money Mike with me. "You’re saying all 201 of us were auditioning, and you had already had the role and had already shot the role in four days?"
He also talked about Harvey Weinstein, the infamous film mogul and convicted sex offender, saying that he once offered him oral sex, but he declined the offer. "They canceled me for talking about Harvey Weinstein before the thing came out,” he said.
Willaims also exposed comedian Christopher (Chris) Tucker claiming he was connected to Jeffrey Epstein, a US financier and sex offender."Chris Tucker we got now is Epstein Island Chris Tucker," Katt added.
No one was really safe from the unexpected accusations as Katt claimed that rapper Ludacris joined the Illuminati to secure his Fast & Furious movie franchise deal. "We were both invited to an Illuminati thing and it had to be one or the other of us and decisions had to be made," Katt said.
But, if you’re thinking that William has only called out others and stood against them, you may be wrong. Because Williams had good things to say as well especially about Ice Cube, defending the artist from being bashed for underpaying his actors and calling them "ungrateful". "What you mean an independent black dude who's filming it partly out of his pocket didn't pay you enough?" Katt said.
Williams further claimed that he wanted to set the record straight and refute lies said about him. "I'm just too big to comment or make a statement about it, or do a live or any of that. But when it gets to be a whole grouping of these guys, I have to come and talk to Shannon," He said.
Apart from this the comedian also opened up about his difficult upbringing, including the time he was homeless at the age of 13 as well as his financial struggles when he started his comedic career.
While Williams threw some serious shade and dropped bombshells about Kanye, the Illuminati, and even his fellow comedians, how did those big names react?
Who has responded to Katt Williams' comments?
As of January 12, 2024, none of the high-profile celebrities Katt Williams mentioned in his interview have publicly issued a direct response to his comments. But, there are a few who have indirectly reacted including Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Rickey Smiley, and Ludacris.
Jumanji actor Kevin Hart fired back at Williams' comments, openly mocking his counterpart on Live TV. While speaking to the Plastic Cup Boyz, Hart joked saying, "Another fun fact about the New York Knicks, I don't know if you guys know this, but Katt Williams bought the Knicks.”
And it's rumored that he took the Knicks back, and returned them with a receipt. However, it appears that Hard had already responded to these comments indirectly a day after the viral interview's release. While he was promoting his upcoming movie Lift on X, Hart commented: "Gotta get that anger up outta champ….It's honestly sad."

"I would never shoot a rape scene in a movie, especially Friday, where you actually see this happening on camera. That ain’t my style," He said. He further added that Smiley was up for the Money Mike role, but Williams was a much better fit.
Additionally, Rickey Smiley also said on his radio show that he had "no reason to lie about" the casting, saying "There was no way in the hell I could have executed that role like that and I’m glad that they made that decision.”
Aside from these, Cedric the Entertainer reacted to Katt Williams’s statements by writing in an Instagram comment, "Revisionist History, regardless of whatever Katt opinion My career can’t be reduced to One Joke Katt Williams claims as his." Rapper Ludacris has also responded with a freestyle dissing Williams, saying "never been an Illuminati, only Ill-Luda-nati."
