After her divorce from rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is now a single mother of four children she shares with Ye. When Kim Kardashian appeared in the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, she described her experience being a single mother. Although she did describe her experience as the ‘best chaos’ she did share something else. Kim Kardashian said in the podcast that there are some nights when she cries herself to sleep.

Parenthood can be the best teacher, trust me I speak from experience. And it seems like Kim Kardashian is getting a masterclass from the world’s best teacher. And I can say from my experience of being a student that the lessons are not always the easiest ones. Kim K while talking about her experience as a single mother said,” There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy shit, this fucking tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?”

Kids are unpredictable. They have their unique personalities, they are so curious and you can never know when they will have a sudden shift in their mood. So it’s always great to have a tag team partner that has your back but this is a luxury most single parents don’t have and Kim Kardashian also talked about it. Kim said,” There’s no one there. Like, it’s me who plays a good police officer and a bad cop.” Every parent in this world knows it does take a village to raise a child.

It was quite evident from the podcast that Kim Kardashian was getting first-hand experience with how challenging and rewarding parenting can be. And Kim talking about parenting felt great, I have seen her as an entrepreneur, reality star, and as your run-of-the-mill celebrity but seeing her as a parent and hearing her talk about being a parent was awesome. From the looks of it you might be thinking that parenting as a single mother was overwhelming for Kim Kardashian and all she talked about in the podcast was what a terrible time she is having. Well, if you think that’s the case then you are wrong. Kim talked in depth about her experience as a mother. She told the outlet,” Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn’t be a more true statement. When you are in it, I mean, especially when they’re babies and you’re feeding… There's madness going on. It’s like full madness. It’s the best chaos though.”
