The pop star welcomed three children before he died. Michael Jackson's children's names are Prince, 26, Paris, 25, and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket), 21, who have lived their entire lives in the spotlight.

When his 3 kids were small, the singer kept them semi-protected from the spotlight with fanciful masks and veils.

In 2007, one of Michael Jackson’s bodyguards told PEOPLE that children were  "well-mannered, well-behaved kids … They are really level-headed." His publicist added, "They were Michael's first priority."

But, in June 2009, when Michael died, the children became more visible in the public eye, starting with Paris's short, unplanned speech at her father's funeral.

He said, "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just want to say that I love him so much," though at that time Paris was only 11 years old.

Today, the kids are pursuing passions on their own but remain very close. In 2021, Prince told the media,  "At this point in our life, it doesn't really feel like there's that hierarchy of, 'I'm the older brother,' ''

"It's more that we're all siblings and we're kind of all on that same level where my sister has her strengths, and my brother has his own strengths, and where I'm not as strong in certain areas."

Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. is the first child of Michael Jackson with ex-wife Debbie Rowe. He was born on Feb 13, 1997, in Los Angeles.

His godparents are Macaulay Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor and he is generally referred to as Prince Michael Jackson.

In 1999, Michael and Debbie divorced and the singer was given full custody of the kids. All three children grew up at his Neverland Ranch, and after their father’s death, the siblings went to live with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

In 2019, Prince graduated with a degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University.

He is a huge motorcycle fan and has his own YouTube channel devoted to his rides across California, plus a few videos reviewing movies alongside his brother Bigi and cousin Taj Jackson.

When Prince was a student at Loyola Marymount University, he co-founded the charity Heal Los Angeles with a friend.

In 2020, Heal partnered with a meal delivery service to give meals to people in need during the pandemic. Prince said his father would have been "proud" of his efforts.

Paris-Michael Kathrine Jackson was born on April 3, 1998, in Los Angeles to Michael Jackson and ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

As her name already suggests, she was named after the city where she was conceived, her father, and her grandmother, Katherine.

Paris went through multiple struggles after her father’s death in 2009. A few sources have revealed that she had attempted suicide many times by age 15.

In 2015, she was also hospitalized after a possible suicide attempt. But in 2019, Paris took professional help and started treatment for her physical and emotional health.

Like her older brother, her godparents are also Caulkin and Taylor. Paris has previously called her brother Prince her "twin" and has always looked up to him.

In 2020, during an interview, Paris shared her relationship with Prince stating 
"He's everything to me, you know? I've always looked up to him and always wanted his approval, and wanted to be more like him."

Paris Jackson has followed in her father’s footsteps as a musician. She had been in multiple brands and in 2020, released both EPs and a full-length solo album, Wilted.

"Everyone in my family does music. I mean, I'm a Jackson," she said in 2020 during an interview. "It makes sense that I'm a musician but like, a Jackson doing folk indie?"

On Feb. 24, 2023, Paris released her single song, "Band-Aid," which she says is "louder" and "more fun" than her other singles "Just You" and "Lighthouse."

"But in terms of the songwriting aspect, it's still the same acoustic folk approach that I always take when I'm writing," she further added.

Aside from this, Paris is a model and actress. She is the current face of KVD Beauty and she has also appeared in American Horror Story and Hulu's teen comedy Sex Appeal.

Bigi Jackson

Bigi usually keeps himself far from spotlights than the other 2 Jackson children. He was born in 2002 via surrogate as Prince Michael Jackson. He was also known as Blanket.

Later in 2015, he changed his name to Bigi.

Bigi appears to be very close with his older brother Prince. A family friend told PEOPLE in 2019 that they two are "best friends" who love sci-fi and science.

In 2020, the youngest Jackson child also celebrated his 18th birthday alongside his siblings at a sushi restaurant. 
Paris wrote on Instagram “My little brother is a legal adult today. what the f—," alongside three throwback photos of his brother Bigi.

"I used to change his diapers. this is such a trip.. proud of the handsome, intelligent, insightful, funny, and kind young man he has become. he likes privacy so that's all I gotta say. HBD lil bro.” He added.

In 2021, however, Bigi gave an interview and spoke about his desire to make an impact in the world. "That's what each of us wants to do — make things that people enjoy but also benefit their lives," he said.

The youngest Jackson child is also passionate about climate change. "I do think it's important we all know about it. We have some work to do but our generation knows how important it is," he added.

Recently this year in August, all three of Michael Jackson Kids celebrated what what would have been his 65th birthday.

Prince and Bigi hosted a Q&A for their fans at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and Paris paid tribute to her father during a show at the Las Colonias Park Amphitheater in Colorado.
