Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the royals: How things have heated up!

All the accusations made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were very serious. They wanted to expose the lies that are part of the royal family. The royal couple also accused the media of being responsible for Meghan’s miscarriage. The couple further went on to add that the royal household attempted to tarnish Meghan’s public image and even the royal household staff was involved in ruining the reputation of the Duchess of Sussex. 

As Meghan narrated her own story it was clear things were much more serious than they sounded. Meghan sharing an incident told the audience how she got hounded by women in Liverpool during a royal walkabout. The woman accused her of having a nasty relationship with her father. They further claimed that the story was also in the press. I can’t even imagine what she must be thinking at that time. That’s a very disgusting accusation and to think the story was being circulated through the media.

The Netflix documentary was not the end of it. Prince Harry has also released his memoir Spare. From the looks of it, I don’t think the problems between the royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will go away anytime soon. It has been a while since Spare came out but there has been no indication of any changes in their relationship and the rift continues. Prince Harry also made a request for an apology to his wife from the palace. But it seems like there will be no apologies from the royals to Meghan Markle.

The US weekly reported the issue and mentioned the Place’s refusal to apologize to Megan Markle frustrated Prince Harry. Honestly, Prince Harry had every right to be frustrated in my opinion. After all, his wife was subjected to a lot that was unjust and he did not even get an apology for anything. The news outlet further reported Prince Harry was hoping someone would come forward at least William but unfortunately, there was little to no progress. 

But what does it mean for the future? There has to be some sort of dialogue between the parties if they want to resolve any issues between them. But the royals do need to come together and find some common ground if any of them hope for any kind of truce. But the question remains: do they want to sit down and have a conversation? 

After going through Prince Harry’s memoir it does seem like he is ready to sit down and have a discussion with his family. Prince Harry in his memoir wrote, “I sit here now in front of you asking for a family. Not an institution. I want a family. And I understand how that might be hard for them to be able to separate the two, but to me, everything that I’ve witnessed and experienced over the years has to be a separation.” Now, that sounds like a man who is ready to sit down and resolve any issues.
