The girl duo were even spotted sharing a huge warm hug. After enjoying a nice dinner they went to a temple bar with a couple of other friends and stayed there for two hours straight. Fans had a lot to say about this move of Taylor Swift and Sophie Turner on Twitter. Many fans said that it was the most iconic thing they ever did, while some others said that it was a calculative move and they feel uncomfortable about this as a Jonas fan. A few fans said that it was a way of Sophie getting over her ex-husband by celebrating it with his ex-girlfriend, it’s like getting a revenge and showing the world that she has moved on and does not give a sh*t about her broken marriage. 

Sophie Turner has made a lot of public appearances after her social media declaration and she seems to be happy in her demeanor. The Game of Thrones actor was later spotted in Spain being all pizzazz donning a smile in a blue top and stone-washed denims. It looks like all is well from her side despite having recently announced the separation from her husband.

We didn't see the split between the Jonas Brother and the Game of Thrones star coming, there were no waking signs of it anywhere unlike other celebrities. Sophie Turner had even posted a picture of her kissing her ex-husband's hand and posted it on Instagram just a month back and now the news of them separating feels indigestible.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Divorce

Reminiscing the old times, Sophie Turner began dating Joe Jonas at the age of 20 while she was still shooting for Game of Thrones and she confessed on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” where she confessed to falling in love with Joe Jonas. It was love at first sight for her in the very first meeting. The 27-year-old actress said that it all began when they were hanging out with his and her friends at the bar. The next thing they know they got engaged the next year.

The former couple tied the knot in 2019 and officially walked down the aisle in France at Chateau de Tourreau. Though they are separating on amicable terms they have two daughters from their four years of marriage.

According to reports that Today.com received about the petitions, it was confirmed that Joe Jonas filed for divorce on September 5, 2023. The marriage between them is broken although it was totally inevitable given the fact that they didn’t have any serious issues as such in the past and have two daughters. Their daughters live with Jonas in Miami while she is away shooting in the U.K.

Amidst the divorce saga unfolding, it’s Jonas and Turner’s conflicting lifestyles that created a rift between them and caused a separation. Joe Jonas is also the only one looking after their kids from the past three months despite having tours whereas Sophie is away filming for her next series in the UK.

In the recent turn of events, Sophie went ahead to file a lawsuit against Joe Jonas saying that he is refusing to return his daughters to England regardless of how she was away from her daughters the whole time.

All this drama aside, the former couple have jointly made a public declaration that “‘there are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children'”.
