Who does not like watching comedy and laughing? I love seeing comedy shows too, it just makes my day even better.

In my opinion, one of the coolest things about comedy today is how artists are including new forms. I enjoy watching standup comedians but sometimes I even more like watching their Netflix specials on the couch.

But I also love discovering new funny female comedians who are changing the comedy landscape by starting their own comedy podcasts or bringing their lol-worthy acts to Instagram to TikTok.

There are many female stand-up comedians who are changing the game right now. From funny female actresses to movies to streaming on OTT platforms, here are the 8 greatest, one crucial thing in common, they are hilarious female comedians you need to take notice of right now. 

1. Wanda Sykes

Wanda Sykes has been doing comedy since 19s and has done a lot. She was majorly recognized for her work as a writer on The Chris Rock Show, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999. 

Wanda has also hosted a late-night talk show and the Academy Awards. She has recently dropped a brand new special, Wanda Sykes: I’m an Entertainer.
