The tale of Kanye West and the Kardashian curse!

So does that mean one of the most influential rappers of this era will get struck down by an online made-up curse? Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce in 2021 and in 2022 the couple is officially separated. So before moving on to what happened after the split let’s have a look at what led to the split. In short Kim Kardashian's 40s are all about “Team me”. Let me explain further, Kim Kardashian addressed her decision of splitting with the 45-year-old rapper saying “ Why am I still in this, like a place where I’m stuck for years? Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know? And he’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job.” But just being an amazing job won’t be enough to save a marriage and it was clear Kim finally broke. 

Although no one thought West and Kardashian would last forever, the couple sure lasted longer than people were expecting. But the split was nasty, to say the least, and from the looks of it, Kanye took it worse than Kim. The rapper sure made some decisions that were questionable, to say the least. Now the question remains: was it a curse that compelled Kanye West to take such decisions? Well, that is a whole different discussion altogether. First, let us look at all the “sensible” things Ye did and said after his split with the reality tv star. 

I will start with the one thing I thought was sweet and bonkers at the same time. It was the rapper’s decision to get a place on the same street as his ex-wife. I really thought it was sweet as Ye wanted to be close to his four children. Now any father who buys a multi-million dollar mansion to stay close to their children is “OK” in my books. Now coming to the bonkers part which was gracefully pointed out by many media houses. Who in their right mind would move into the house which is across from your ex’s house? Although the rapper had repeatedly said his only intention was to stay close to his children but I there is still so much more to the story. 

Kanye did start seeing other people and was seen gushing over his new lady Julia Fox but there were days when he would publicly announce his wishes to get back together with Kim. Things really took a turn for the worse when Kim Kardashian was spotted with comedian Pete Davidson. Now I never understood why Ye started beef with Pete Davidson when it was clear he started dating other women first. Ye was not exactly a huge fan of Pete Davidson and when he heard Pete was dating Kim that just added to the rage. So Ye’s dislike for Pete stemmed when the rapper appeared in an episode of Saturday Night Live but his segment was cut. So when Ye heard Pete Davidson was dating Kim Kardashian his focus changed from getting Kim back to splitting the couple apart. 

The rapper then went on to start a few rumors about Pete Davidson. Rumors like how Kanye West was bullied by Pete Davidson, Ye was barred from meeting his children because Pete Davidson was meeting them and my favorite one “Pete Davidson has AIDS”. It’s safe to say the breakup really did a number on the rapper. Ye went further and dissed Pete Davidson in one of his songs, the lyrics to that masterpiece went like “ God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.” I will not even go to the petty Tweets Kanye made after Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson broke up. 

Kanye shows no signs of stopping and also recently made headlines first for wearing a shirt with the phrase “ White Lives Matter”. Then he went on to his Instagram to inform all the netizens that Diddy was being controlled by Jewish people. Instagram restricted Ye’s account that day which led to Ye taking to Twitter, and the netizens witnessed tweets like “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE”, “You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda”, and one particular Tweet meant for Mark Zuckerberg himself “Who you think created cancel culture?”
