Will Naomi Osaka ever return to tennis after being a mother?
Naomi Osaka, the former world number one in tennis has announced something really exciting. She just announced that she is going to be a mother. But many of her fans are asking a very crucial question, will she come back to tennis? And Naomi Osaka did not keep her fans in the dark for long and addressed all their concerns. She took to Twitter and wrote, “I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch my matches and tell someone ‘That’s my mom’ haha”. Honestly, I found the tweet very sweet and what made it even better was she also had an ultrasound picture of a pregnancy scan with her tweet.

I guess everything checks out now. I wish we could have gotten the update a wee bit sooner but better late than never. Her fans will be waiting to see her in the 2024 Australian Open and who knows maybe she can repeat the 2019 and 2021 Australian Open. Confused? Both the 2019 and 2021 Australian Opens were won by her. Naomi Osaka has four Grand Slam singles titles to her name. Apart from the two Australian Open victories she came out on top in the 2018 and 2020 US Open as well.
Although she made it clear that she would come back to the sport, there were some speculations regarding her future in the sport but recently it has been a common thing for female players to return to the court after having a kid. Victoria Azarenka, Kim Clijsters, and Serena Williams all returned to the sport as mothers and it seems Naomi Osaka will be no different.
