Beyonce takes the stage after 4 years and what an epic return it was!

An exquisite Egyptian-themed backdrop with violinists wearing beautiful golden headpieces. And Beyonce’s dancers and musicians complemented the violinists beautifully with matching garb. Variety reported the show was nothing short of a spectacle. In the invite-only show, the attendees braced themselves for Beyonce’s hour-long performance. And all of them could barely control their excitement when they saw Beyonce wearing a yellow corseted dress with a feathered skirt and a feathered back piece.

The show began with fireworks as the iconic singer took the stage singing Etta James ‘At Last’. You just know you are up for a grand treat when you see the performer singing into a golden microphone. And the return must be even more special for Beyonce as she had her entire family in the audience. Beyonce’s mom and dad Tina Knowles and Mathew Knowles were part of the audience. That’s not all her husband Jay-Z was there too with their children Sir Carter, Rumi, and Blue Ivy. 

While you might think the family was just there to support Beyonce while she takes the stage after 4 years, I don’t think anyone was expecting a collaboration. When Beyonce started performing ‘Crazy in Love’ the audience was surprised when Blue Ivy hit the stage along with her mother. Blue Ivy strolled onto the stage rocking a red sequined jumpsuit with a billowy skirt. She certainly made it evident she is a star in the making when she flipped her braids while walking down to her mom’s side. Blue Ivy danced when Beyonce when performed ‘Brown Skin Girl’. And the 11-year-old totally rocked the choreography and even ended the dance by striking a pose and blowing kisses to the crowd. 

Beyonce kept changing the vibe of the show with wardrobe changes. Her wardrobe changes can also be interpreted as leaning on the ballads ‘Spirit’, ‘Freedom’, and ‘Be Alive’. But Beyonce wrapped up the show with a crystal-adorned mini-dress, talking about ending things on a spicy note.

Many were hoping Beyonce would perform a few songs from her 2022 Grammy-nominated album ‘Renaissance’ but her performance did not have any from that album. But nevertheless, it was a night like no other. Beyonce wrapped up the night with a water show as she performed ‘Naughty Girl’. The show ended as Beyonce was lifted into the air while spectacular fireworks followed. 

It’s a shame we could not get a glimpse of the show from any of the celebrity Insta stories as there was a strict no-phones policy. Nia Long, Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Chloe, and Halle Bailey are some of the celebrities who attended the show. But although there was a no-phone policy in the show, the after-party had no such restrictions. So the party kept going as the Swedish Mafia performed at the after-party.

Beyonce’s performance was a part of the ‘Grand Reveal’ weekend celebration of the new Atlantis The Royal a part of Atlantis Resorts in Dubai. But it was great to know that Beyonce is back performing on the stage. What do you think will Beyonce announce a tour soon, comment down below.
