Taylor Swift gave us a hint about her breakup but did you catch it?

Taylor Swift recently wrapped her Florida concert and on April 24th she took to her Instagram and posted a string of images. But the pictures were not from her Florida concert but they were from her live performance in Houston, Texas. Well, it is a nationwide tour so I guess we will get a lot more of such posts. Taylor Swift talked about how performing at Houston was an absolute blast and also took time to thank her amazing fans.

To quote Taylor Swift exactly she wrote, “Just got to play 3 insane shows in Houston and I’m waking up smiling reminiscing about how much fun we all had. Loving this tour so much because of the passion these crowds put into it all - seriously can’t wait for Atlanta.” During her show in Houston fans noticed Taylor’s hand was cut and obviously her fans were concerned. She also explained her injury and wrote,” For those asking how I cut my hand, I’m totally fine and it was my fault completely - tripped on my dress hem and fell in the dark backstage while running to a quick change - braced my fall with my palm. It was all very Mercury on the retrograde side. Don’t worry about me, I'm good”. 

Apart from the Eras Tour Taylor Swift also made headlines for her breakup with Joe Alwyn. Taylor and Joe were together for six years before the couple called it quits. According to a source who is close to the ex-couple the relationship had run its course. Joe Alwyn is a British actor who has appeared in films like Mary Queen of Scots, Boy Erased, and The Favourite. It’s safe to assume Taylor Swift was the bigger star in the relationship and many speculated that might be the reason they broke up and that’s all they are speculations.

But Taylor Swift had already hinted towards a breakup earlier. And it came while she talked about her song Lavender Haze from the album Midnights. She said,” I guess, theoretically, when you’re in the lavender haze you’ll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud. I think a lot of people have to deal with this now, not just ‘public figures,’ because we live in an era of social media.” I can’t say I don’t agree with Taylor Swift on this one. Social media today has a grip on our lives.

Taylor Swift continued by saying,” If the world finds out that you’re in love with somebody they’re going to weigh in on it. Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, and tabloid stuff and we just ignore it. This song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.” I guess the breakup was coming and she told us too but we could not see it coming.
